I am so excited, it finally rained here! It has threatened a couple of times, but liquid actually fell from the sky yesterday and today. I was so happy that I ran out to enjoy it. You can't really tell in this picture, but it's actually raining really hard in addition to a pretty sweet thunder shower. If I squint real hard I can almost convince myself that I'm back in Washington...

You sound just like Nate! (My husband, not yours). He is homesick for WA weather too and even though we have thunderstorms here, he still misses the drizzle.
