So, our lovely friends Ben and Jessica invited us to go on a drive into the mountains with them and another couple today. It was so much fun! We saw deer, Turkey, and Elk, and the snow was SUPER deep. Nate and I had a race across about 4 feet of snow. It was hilarious because we were trying to run, but we kept sinking in up to our knees. Also, it was great because I won like the running champ that I am =)

Here is Reid and Jack getting bundled up to go. SIDE NOTE: Nate hates Reid's hat, but I love it. OTHER SIDE NOTE: Reid is wearing the Huskies jacket Grandpa Lilley got him for Christmas. That is why he is in purple. Horray for The Huskies!

Mommy & Reid. SIDE NOTE: Reid's gloves were in the wash, so....yes. He is wearing socks on his hands.

Jessica and Jack the chubster.

Reid trying to walk on top of 4 feet of snow. Luckily he was light enough that he didn't sink in. He still had a couple of face plants though!

Ben dug a hole...and jumped in. That is all.

Holding hands with daddy on our way back to the car. So cute.

The snow looks like fun! Miles had to do homework all day. Good thing about the rooster too, no reason to get up earlier then you have to.
GOOOOO HUSKIES!And I think the hat is GREAT,and the little Reidster in
it is so cute!Remember Car,"The early rooster gets the worm"(or is that bird).
How fun, it's fun to go look for snow but not so fun when it comes to you I've decided. You guys are so cute. I like Reids hat too. Hopefully next time I comment I will have a baby to show you! hahaha.

Great pictures! A part of me really wishes that we'd get snow like that here, Charlie would LOVE it! Oh, and I'd go nuts with a rooster waking me up at 6am-that's for sure.
---where do you get your Jack Handy quotes?! Those were my favorite on SNL way back when. So hilarious.
I am so glad you guys could come. I love being in the mountains they are just glorious!
