T-Town. Word.
So, as I mentioned earlier, Reid and I went home to visit my side of the fam., and we had a blast. Let me just say that I loved the weather oh-so-much. It was in the sixties and seventies which is a nice reprieve from the 90's and 100's here in the furnace. It was so great to see my family. I just love them. As a side note, my dad bought this SUPER nice professional camera two years ago, and left it in the box until I got my hands on it this past week, and these are the pictures I took with it. I spent the week putting the camera together, reading the instructions, and taking practice pictures. I'm not very good, but now that it's assembled it means that my dad HAS to use it, and possibly take a class or two about basic photography. (Now that I have published this on the internet, dad you have to do it, OK?)
We went to the U.P. festival, and Reid had the time of his life on the bouncy thingies (don't know what their official title is...). Seriously, he laughed and jumped for over an hour. He couldn't get enough!
You have to enlarge this picture because Reid is cracking up (and slightly airborne)! I thought this slide might be a little steep for him, but he wanted to go down it about a million times!
I got to spend one afternoon with my sister, Icel and her three kids; Hannah, Logan and Lauren. It was so nice to spend time with her and her family. Her kids are so stinkin' cute. I really wish we lived closer. Here she is with Lauren.
Hannah was having a great time pushing Reid. He looks like he's upset here, but really he's laughing.
Reid laughing at Papa in the bouncy castle. I'm not sure how this one made it to the end, but you know me and my lame-o blogging skills.
