Us Utahns got about 7 inches of snow over the last couple of days, and our family has definitely taken advantage of it! Yesterday we went out and played while Linkers napped (he's getting teeth, so he has been sleeping even WORSE, and is a little on the grumpy side).
I taught Reid how to throw snowballs, but because the snow is so powdery here we couldn't make very good ones, or a snowman for that matter!
We also busted out the sled and went for joy rides around the parking lot (which is like a deathtrap for cars!)
Then we got some hot lunch and snuggled up on the couch to watch this Christmas classic. And because we don't have a TV we have to watch it on our big screen. (That's a 6 in. plasma people)Also, points for whoever can guess that movie (my personal favorite; we watch it every year at least three times!)
Today we were invited over for a play date, and since there's no way I am going to drive I packed up little Linkers in the hiking back pack and pulled Reid in the sled. I looked ridiculous, but it was fun!

so glad it's you guys and not us, yet, how fun though it's nice how snow becomes kind of fun with kids and watching them enjoy it, ok so it's not fair while I am getting older and fatter and not so cute, you look soooo beautiful I love your family picture and you look amazing so stunning! wish you guys where here! miss ya
ELF!!!! I love that movie, too! The first time my family saw the movie, my sister fell out of her seat at the theaters. It has been a personal favorite ever since.

i LOVE the snow... always makes it feel more like christmas! i bet that was quite a workout with the baby in the backpack and pulling reid on the sled! i bet they both LOVED it!
Wow, what a nice little family you got going on there! You look so grown up! Time has treated you and yours well! Jake and I still feel like we're playing house... far less grown up than your clan! We moved to San Fran (the bay area) last summer... Jake got a job with a CPA firm as an accountant and hopes to complete his CPA tests by summer. No kids, yet... I guess, like I mentioned, we both still feel pretty young ourselves. We finally have some extra money to travel, or save, or something...feels like we have been waiting for this moment for the last few years. I suppose we're just enjoying finally arriving... silly probably, cause we all know we really never 'arrive', right? Ok, this turned out way longer than expected... oh well, next time I'll just email :) Check out my blog... I think you can click on my name and it should link you... Take good care and have a very very Merry Christmas!
