Let's be honest...

Thanks for all of your awesome comments! It makes my day to know that people still care! Anyway, I was chatting with my great friend Amber T., and we were talking about how sometimes we feel like blogging can become a competition. Not really intentionally, but I think we sometimes make our lives out to be prefect--especially when we only post pieces of what has been going on. After that I decided that I wouldn't blog anymore because I didn't want anyone to get the impression that things are always perfect here at the Tuletts! After that decision I felt bad for not keeping up with friends and family through blogging, so instead I decided to post both the fun and the not-so-fun. This may not make sense to anyone, but I really want to be more realistic and honest in my journaling, because let's face it, life can be hard!!!

Fun thing: Reid and Link are so cute together. Link doesn't really laugh out loud much, and the only person that can really get a belly laugh out of him is his big bro. So, if we are driving somewhere, and Link starts to get fussy I just tell Reid to make him laugh, and all is well!

Not-so-fun: Link doesn't sleep. At all. I have tried all of the tricks, (babywise can kiss my sleepless behind) but this kid wants me every 2-3 hours. I love him to death, but at 2am I am rethinking the number of kids I want. Reid has also decided to get up at 4 everyday, so one of us usually goes and sleeps on his floor until he settles down. Needless to say, I still feel like I have a newborn, and it doesn't help that everyone I talk to brags about how their baby slept through the night at one week. It's usually the first thing they say when I tell them Link's not a great sleeper. It's so helpful I could scream.

We're Back!

After a long vacation from blogging we are finally back. I kind of decided I didn't want to blog anymore, so I just thought I would let it go, but then I realized how much I enjoy reading all of your blogs that I thought there might be some people out there that enjoy seeing what we're up to as well. I'm not going to go into all we have done in the last few months, but here is a little snippet, and then I'll start posting recent stuff.

Reid and his favorite cousin, Audrey got to hang out this summer, and I think this is the CUTEST PICTURE EVER (that's why I'm shouting in all caps).

We went home to Washington this summer, and took the ferry to Friday Harbor. It's so beautiful there. I miss it so much sometimes!

We got to be the ones to send our nephew, Daniel off on his mission!

My little Linkers is 6 months old now, and he is tiny. He's only in the 9th percentile for both height and weight. He looks like Reid did at 3 months. He sure is a sweetheart though. Love this guy!

Katrina came back and brought Cheryse for a visit as well. This was our second trip to the Hogle Zoo this summer!

We also had our great friends the Meynders stop by for a fun visit. Don't mind how terrible I look in this picture, I hadn't showered yet that day. (Yikes!)

Mr. Reidster is getting big so fast. He'll be three next month, and he's talking like he's all grown up. One of these days I'm going to need to start writing down some of the hilarious things he says...just look at that sass he's giving me!

Moving...

So, our landlords have sold our house, and we are forced to move. Very sad. This is Reid when we very first moved here almost 2 years ago-can you believe how much he has grown!? Anyway, they are shutting off our internet today, and it may be a few weeks before we get reconnected, so I am signing off for now!

All Alone...

This post is going to be short because I am on my own now, and have no time. My mom came this last week to help me out, and boy do we miss Nana!

This is my view while he's in the Moby Wrap. I love this thing. Seriously, go out and get one!

Also, people have been asking if Reid likes Link, and the answer to that is... kind of. Reid has been warming up to the idea of having a little brother, but still gets pretty jealous. He has regressed a bit with his potty training, and is doing more things to get attention, (and by "things" I mean fits...) but he's only 2, so we are trying to be patient and each day seems to get better as we establish a routine. He's still my cute buddy, and I love him to pieces!

So, we are all alone. I am going to try and be bloggy, but we will see how it goes...anyone with 2+ kiddos have great advice for how to survive the dreaded transition weeks? We are actually doing pretty well, but I'm only on day 2...

Baby Blessing

We decided to do Link's baby blessing at home just a couple of days after we left the hospital so that at least some of our family could be here. Nate's parents got him this ridiculously adorable blessing outfit for the occasion.

I love Link's little feet. Unlike his stocky brother, Link had long and skinny fingers and toes like his daddy.

This picture cracks me up because we were trying to snap a cute picture of Link and Grandma, but right as we took the picture Reid and Audrey ran into the door behind her, so this is her "oh no" face.

Snoozing

I just realized....

That I didn't put any pictures of Nate's sister, Corrine on my last post. The reason this was a big no-no on my part is because Corrine SAVED MY LIFE! She came down with Nate's parents leaving her husband and two little boys for a whole week just to help me. She stayed in my hospital room for hours at a time with me so Nate could spend some time with Reid, and our first night home Link was awake most of the night, so she kept him and brought him in when he was hungry. She is so awesome, and I was very reluctant to let her go! I only have a few pictures of her with the baby because she was taking most of them, or she was too busy helping me to pose with the baby. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to auntie Corrine for bringing her mommy expertise to my house and making my recovery much, much smoother. We love you!
